I recently spent a day on the road, exploring along Route 89A and 89 around the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument along the scenic Rt 89 and 89A starting in Utah and winding down across the northern section of Arizona. It is a two-lane, scenic and very solitary road. These are some of the sights I came across:
One of the most interesting areas was this place called Cliff Dwellers. I imagined I would come across tall cliffs and caves inhabited ages ago by primitive people, instead this is what I found right by the side of the road and it turned out people lived in them just about 100 years ago.
